You can’t hold a good Kris Bryant down for too long.
After grounding out with two outs and the bases loaded earlier in the game, Bryant had a two-out chance for redemption in the 4th inning with two runners on and he didn’t miss his shot.
His shot being his 16th homer of the year (via @Cubs):

That was a lovely looking blast, with plenty of distance and heat off the bat:

As you well know by now, Bryant has been mired in something of a mini-slump, so it’s good to see him really get ahold of one. I had some thoughts on the subject on Twitter before Bryant’s blast that I stand by now:
Refuse to believe a Kris Bryant slump will last longer than about 10 days. Too good, too smart, too quick to adjust.

I mean he's hitting .203 this month before his 0-2 start today. This is prolonged slump.

Keep seeing people say this about Bryant, & – no offense Eli – they're wrong.
KB from June 1-13: .250/.423/.575. It's an 8-day slump so far. https://t.co/tkFGTirVZx— Bleacher Nation (@BleacherNation) June 22, 2017
Hopefully after tonight (well, and then with appropriate distance to look back), we can say that the eight-day slump was all it was.
