Battling back from another two-run deficit, the Cubs were all tied with the Cardinals at 3-3 in the 6th inning when Kris Bryant doubled off the wall, and, a batter later, Willson Contreras stepped to the plate.

The homer was Contreras’s 15th of the year, and has pushed him to a .270/.335/.493 up-to-the-moment batting line. He hit it very hard, but got it way up in the air, so it actually only barely got out:
