Raise your hand if you noticed that Anthony Rizzo had the best week in the National League.
*eclipse-induced crickets*
I’m sure some of you noticed, but if you’re like me, other performances and Rizzo’s typical awesomeness obscured the fact that the dude really did have a standout week.
And it won him some honors:

How does a big-time star like Rizzo *ever* go under the radar on a hot streak? I feel great shame.
On the  year, Rizzo is up to .268/.387/.512 with a 133 wRC+, which is obviously fantastic, though it is shy of the steady mark he set the previous three years (155, 145, 145). If you want to bet on a guy continuing to be hot through the end of the season, Rizzo’s as good a bet as any.
