I suppose the banner headline here is that the Cubs are wrecking the Reds right now, and they got five of their nine runs (so far) on dingers by Kyle Schwarber and Tommy La Stella.
But the even more fun aspect of the homers is that after them, there was some fun to be had in the dugout, led by … Ian Happ? I like that.
First, the homers.
Schwarber’s three run oppo shot came with a little extra drama, as it required a review to confirm:
You could start to see the dugout shenanigans there at the end of the clip, and it was Happ going up to Schwarber – with a microphone – for a post-homer interview:

I think these guys are feeling pretty good about things, eh? Being in first place, 10 games over .500, and playing the Reds will do that for a team.
