The Cubs were down 2-0 early in this one thanks to the nightly Rhys Hoskins homer (seriously, the kid now has 10 homers in his first 17 games, which is an MLB record).
But Tommy La Stella crushed one to make it 2-1, and then Anthony Rizzo muscled up with a couple guys on.
Boom:

The blast was Rizzo’s 29th of the season, leaving him just one shy of the thoroughly-enjoyable 30-homer plateau. Rizzo’s career high, which he’s reached twice, is 32.
That was 106 mph off the bat, and 430 feet to center field. Absolutely hammered.

UPDATE: Rizzo homered again, this time following Kris Bryant.
