As expected/hoped, all signs point to Jose Quintana being ready to go this evening to face the Dodgers in Game One of the NLCS.
It’s not official yet, but:
Don't have official word but looks like #Cubs Quintana to face Kershaw and LA today

Morning from LA.Nothing official but as @PWSullivan and @BNightengale tweeted it will be Quintana tonight. Will discuss at 10 CT on ESPN 1000

Given Kyle Hendricks’ start on Thursday, even with his relief appearance later in the game, Quintana made the most sense for this start (if available). John Lackey was the other realistic option.
The rest of the Cubs’ NLCS roster should come out this afternoon, and you shouldn’t expect dramatic changes – perhaps just a switcharoo or two in the bullpen.
