After managing next to nothing for eight innings last night, the Dodgers offense exploded for five runs in the top of the ninth (thanks, in part, to a three-run Joc Pederson homer), and just like that the series is all tied up! No matter what, now, the series is heading back to Los Angeles.
But before we can get there, the Dodgers and Astros will hold a (pitching) rematch of Game 1, with Clayton Kershaw set to face Dallas Keuchel tonight. Both pitchers were pretty good the first time around, but Kershaw definitely shined a little brighter.
Let’s see if he can do it again.
