Cubs Announce Fallout Boy and Def Leppard/Journey Concerts, Pearl Jam Likely Coming, Too
Here to fill the void of transaction announcements are a couple Wrigley Field concert announcements, and one rumored concert. That’s totally just as good, right?
As for the concerts:
Coming to #WrigleyField this summer: @DefLeppard and @JourneyOfficial!
The ticket on-sale date will be shared soon. https://t.co/MzANhq6C1A pic.twitter.com/f5Hl4V7P7S

Fallout Boy, from the Chicago area, played at Wrigley Field before Opening Night back in 2015. As for Journey, I wonder if ‘Don’t Stop Believin” will get booed at Wrigley Field because of the decade-old connection to the White Sox’s World Series run. Probably not. Everyone loves that song.
As for the concert rumor, it’s a very familiar name:
Looks like Pearl Jam is coming back to Wrigley Field Aug. 18 and Aug. 20. #Cubs https://t.co/ipzGRSOma5

Sure, it’s been done before, but are people really going to complain about Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam?
