Spring Training Miscellany: Cubs 6, Rangers 1, Darvish Faces Cubs, More
With apologies I went to the Blackhawks game here in Columbus tonight, the travel for which overlapped with the Cubs’ game, so I was able to catch only the very start of this one on audio.
More from the day …
- The Cubs beat the Rangers in their home debut, getting dingers from Anthony Rizzo and Willson Contreras. Eddie Butler gave up that first run for the Cubs, and then no one let up anything, including a scoreless frame from each of Duane Underwood and Oscar De La Cruz.
