Ever the Tease, the Cubs Give Us “Just a Taste” of Yu Darvish Video From Today’s Performance

I said it yesterday, and I’ll say it again: Spring Training is often a “beggars not being choosers” situation when it comes to video. In-house feed camera? Fine. Somebody’s phone in left field? OK, cool. Alien satellite technology that you just freaking know is out there but they’re hoarding it? Great.

For today, it’s the in-house feed from the Cubs showing us Yu Darvish’s four strikeouts from today’s win over the Dodgers, and I’m taking it:

And it tastes so good.

That … sounded more sexual than I intended. I’m just saying I enjoy the hot pitching action depicted there by Yu Darvish.

On the day, Darvish struck out four Dodgers, all but the last were swinging. And the last one featured Donovan Solano getting frozen by a bender. Even from the overhead view, I can tell it was beautiful, and I can see the shame in Solano’s eyes.
