Today’s game kinda fell way out of our minds – the game play, I mean – very quickly, as Javy Baez left the game with the trainer. Fingers are crossed that his hamstring tightness won’t actually be a strain, and was instead just a dehydration cramp. He thinks he could play as soon as this weekend:

As for the game, the Cubs won again! The spring Cubs can’t lose (they’ve done it just twice in 14 tries). They blew up early on the Padres, and ultimately won 10-4 (good buddy).
#Cubs will take cautious approach with Simmons and just shut him down for a couple days. He came out of Wed night game with soreness in right shoulder
