Wake Up and Watch Yu Darvish Whiffing the A’s, and Dream on When This Becomes Real

Good morning. Good Monday. How’s that time change treating you? Would you like a pick-me-up?

How about a clip of Yu Darvish’s five strikeouts yesterday against the A’s? Of course you’ll take it! Via @Cubs:

The Cubs signed one of the most prodigious strikeout pitchers of this generation, and, so far in Spring Training, that has certainly showed up. Each time I see just a little bit of Darvish in action (of which we haven’t gotten much, since his starts haven’t been televised), I get more and more excited to see what he can do with the Cubs this year – moving to a new league, working with the Cubs’ pitching infrastructure, another year removed from Tommy John surgery. Giggity.
