Aaaaaand we’re back.
After a brief hiatus yesterday, the Cubs are back in Cactus League action today, with a game against the Texas Rangers at 3:05. This one will be televised on MLB Network, so be sure to tune in if you’re able.
Yu Darvish is taking the mound this afternoon, and he’ll look to make his second-to-last start of the spring, before taking the ball for Game 3 (of 4) in Miami to start the season. And remember, we don’t need him to look Greg Maddux out there, we just need him to stay healthy and tighten up whatever else he’s working on before the start of the season.
The lineup for this one is full of only regulars, too, so it figures to be a really good game to follow:
Chicago Cubs Lineup:
- Ian Happ, CF
- Kris Bryant, 3B
- Anthony Rizzo, 1B
- Willson Contreras, C
- Kyle Schwarber, LF
- Ben Zobrist, 3B
- Jason Heyward, RF
- Javy Baez, SS
- Yu Darvish, P
Pitching: Yu Darvish
