I’m not sure if you’re (1) awake and (2) interested in enjoying a lighthearted moment from the Cubs’ marathon, 17-inning loss to the Marlins, but I’ve got it for you anyway.
As you know by now, Cubs catcher Willson Contreras has a pernicious habit of throwing the ball like an Aroldis Chapman fastball when he has to complete a play at first base. It’s terrifying each time, like he’s going to take off Anthony Rizzo’s head, but the one time I can remember Contreras trying to take it easy, he threw the ball 200 feet up the first baseline. So, it might not be going anywhere.
Well, unless Rizzo was sending a message last night while also having a little fun. Because Rizzo, at long last, got his revenge:

I’m glad they showed the part where the two were laughing and enjoying each other in the dugout, lest we think Rizzo was actually trying to throw that ball through Contreras. Heh.
