Hey, the Cubs are highly likely to play a baseball game today! After a rainout and a scheduled off-day, it feels like forever since they’ve been on the field, and it – checks calendar – actually has been forever since they’ve scored a run. That’ll change tonight against the Brewers and lefty Brent Suter. Probably.
As for the other side of the ball, the Brewers will be down one of their top bats tonight:
Yelich has minor oblique stiffness. Won't play tomorrow.

Gotta be careful with those obliques, which sometimes cost position players no time at all, and sometimes cost them months at a time. If Yelich feels anything at all in there, best to give him a day. Or, you know, a series.
Sitting him tonight probably makes the most sense anyway, as he does have some pronounced lefty-righty splits in his career – 130 wRC+ against righties, 96 wRC+ against lefties – so the Brewers may not lose a ton by getting another outfielder in there against Jon Lester. They’ll probably just go with Ryan Braun, Lorenzo Cain, and Domingo Santana across the outfield, with righty Jesus Aguilar at first base. Lots of righties to face Lester.
