It has been an extreme struggle to plate runs today for both teams, thanks in equal parts to shadows, a large strike zone, and good pitching. The Brewers got a run early on a solo Eric Thames homer, and, thankfully, the Cubs just scored their first run when Kris Bryant returned fire.
