Chicago Cubs Home Opener Postponed Until Tuesday

Well, I suppose I’ll be happy tomorrow, but for today, I haz the sadz:

Thanks to an abundance of snow – where did that come from anyway? – the Cubs home opener against the Pirates has been postponed. Fortunately, there was a built in off-day tomorrow, so we won’t have to wait long to make it up. Bummer.

On the bright side, Anthony Rizzo was not in the scheduled lineup today, but maybe he’ll return tomorrow and not have to miss another game! That’d be a nice silver lining, right?
