No Cubs baseball today, as everyone is resting up after the incredible win yesterday. Or maybe it’s just really, really, absurdly bad conditions out today.
Today’s game between the #Cubs and #Braves has been postponed due to the forecast for inclement weather throughout the day.
The game will be played on Monday, May 14 at 1:20 p.m. CT. Tickets for today will be honored for the makeup game. No ticket exchange is necessary. pic.twitter.com/IHndZtkeqa

So, there’s your makeup, on May 14, which had been an off-day for the teams. The weird thing is that the Cubs go to Atlanta the next day to start a three-game series against the Braves. So now it’s kinda like a four-game series, but in two different parks. That’s gonna be strange.
It also means the Cubs will be in a stretch there where they play 11 games in 10 days (a double-header against the Reds, thanks to another rain out) is on May 19.
One upside to this postponement, though, is that it’s a game the Cubs don’t have to play without Anthony Rizzo. He’s eligible to return from the DL tomorrow, and if he’s ready to come back, then the Cubs just got to bump today’s Rizzo-less game into May.
