For the FIFTH TIME already this season, a Chicago Cubs game has been postponed. Today’s Cubs-Cardinals tilt will not play as scheduled.
The good news, though, is that it’s only been bumped a day:
Today's #Cubs-Cardinals game has been postponed due to the forecast for inclement weather throughout the day.
It will be played tomorrow at 1:20 p.m. CDT. Tickets to today's game will be honored for tomorrow's makeup game. No ticket exchange is necessary.

Try, try again. The Cubs have played just one game since Saturday. And they lost it. I am going crazy.
At least Ben Zobrist gets another day for his back (ditto Anthony Rizzo), and the bullpen gets a blow after covering 4.1 innings last night.
UPDATE: Jon Lester is still starting tomorrow, but here’s your reminder that his originally scheduled start date was Monday.
Lester, as expected, still start Thursday for Cubs.

It’s now been pushed back three times. I’m sure the Cubs coaches have it all sorted out, but it almost would’ve been better if he skipped his start in the first place and threw a bullpen session instead.
