It doesn’t matter where you put him, Javy Baez is gonna El Mago.
Today, it’s at shortstop, where he kept the Brewers off the board with an incredible play to end the fourth inning after Lorenzo Cain had led off with a double and reached third on a wild pitch. Jose Quintana got a strikeout, a pop out, and then Baez took care of the rest (@Cubs):

Baez even momentarily lost his body positioning there, but was still able to adjust quickly enough and throw strongly enough to get the out. He’s good. So good.
