Tyler Chatwood, my man. Please keep this going:
#Cubs starting pitchers have posted 5 straight quality starts (1.09 ERA in that stretch). Prior to this, they had a 5.27 ERA and 7 QS in 1st 19 games

Of course, Chatwood is the one who got this party started with a 6.0 IP, 4H, 1ER performance against the Indians in Cleveland.
Unfortunately, he also walked five guys in that start, so while the results were there (1.50 ERA) the peripherals weren’t quite as nice (4.01 FIP). Indeed, command has been the issue for Chatwood all season long, though he has been doing plenty of other stuff well (51.9 GB%, 25% hard-hit rate). So hopefully, he can bring it all together and help get the Cubs a sweep.
The opposing starter, Zach Davies, had a good 2017 season (3.90 ERA, 4.22 FIP), but hasn’t quite put it together here in 2018 (4.45 ERA, 5.19 FIP). His walk rate is elevated (for him) and his strikeout rate remains under 20%, as it has for his entire career. He’s also not getting a ton of grounders right now and has allowed a third-worst in MLB 45.4% hard-hit rate. He’s beatable, Cubs. Now, beat him.
