His homer last night *should* have been a game-winner, just like his homer the day before that *should* have been the eventual game winner.
I don’t know if tonight’s three-run blast will be the game-winner, but Javy Baez just homered for the third straight game:

The best part of that monster blast is that it came one pitch after Baez went Full Javy on a swing that took him to his knee. He whiffed badly at a changeup, and if you didn’t know Javy, you’d have thought it was embarrassing. It was not, because that’s just Javy bein’ Javy, and it was immediately followed – as they so often seem to be – by that blast.
That was 107 mph and 411 happy feet, and now an MLB-leading 32 RBI for Baez.
