The benches cleared tonight between the Cubs and Marlins after a play at the plate … for some reason.

I really don’t understand Derek Dietrich’s beef there, but I do admire Victor Caratini’s composure. He had to move to get the ball, Dietrich was toast, and there was really no reason for him to shove Caratini like that. Nice play by Ben Zobrist out in right field, by the way.
Watch out for Willson Contreras flying in. Everyone seemed fairly chill for a benches-clearing incident, but if there was violence, Contreras was going to END IT. That is not a dude I would want to mess with.
The best part of all of this by far, though is what Kris Bryant did to Starlin Castro in the scrum. No, he didn’t throw hands with his former teammate.
He tickled him:

No punches thrown. Instead, the Cubs tickle Starlin Castro lol @WGNNews pic.twitter.com/nU3RvoAFiY

Benches clear in Chicago after play at the plate. Willson Contreras and Jose Ureña need to be held back. Kris Bryant and Starlin Castro, on the other hand, tickle fight. @KrisBryant_23 @WContreras40 @Cubs #everybodyin #flytheW #GoCubsGo @BleacherNation @realcubsinsider pic.twitter.com/ZaWE06B4Te

I am dying. Best benches-clearing incident ever.
