Didn’t know that this was happening, but the Cubs are now without Jason Heyward, who apparently suffered a concussion on Sunday.
#Cubs place Jason Heyward on 7-day concussion DL after getting injured trying to make the catch on Dexter Fowler's game-winning homer in STL.

Heyward, whose spot will be taken on the roster by David Bote, will be eligible to return from the disabled list next Monday (he did not appear in last night’s game). Clearly he was feeling some after-effects, maybe lingering into yesterday (he conducted interviews after the Sunday loss).
Hopefully he’ll be OK – both in the general sense, and the baseball playing sense – in time to return from the DL on Monday. He’s obviously had his struggles offensively, and a bit on defense this year, but the Cubs aren’t better right now with him flat-out not on the roster.
