Have yourself a day, Willson Contreras.
Even though it’s only the third inning, the Cubs’ catcher is having a huge game on his bobblehead day. After going grand slamming in the first inning, Contreras decided to do some damage with his arm.
After Tyler Chatwood put the first two batters of the top of the third on via the walk – as he does from time to time – Contreras took it upon himself to eliminate one of those runners with the most perfect pickoff throw you’ll ever see:

So fast, and unbelievably perfect placement on that throw, despite Matt Davidson not getting egregiously off-base. Even an inch askew or a half-second later, and Davidson is safe. (He … probably was safe, actually, but hey, the White Sox didn’t challenge.)
Willson Contreras, man. You just can’t stray at all on those bases.
