Tyler Chatwood was not horrible in the first inning, but he still looked to be on the verge of giving up two-plus runs when Jay Bruce drilled one to deep right center field with a couple runners on base.
But, you see, that is the Sacred Land of Almora. No balls may drop there.

Albert Almora is just so good getting quickly to the spot, reading the ball into his glove, and protecting his body in the process. It’s art, and it remains a dang shame he’s not on the All-Star ballot.
