The Cubs were once again unable to score here in the early innings today, so El Mago decided to take matters into his own hands.
With Willson Contreras at first taking aggressive leads and Javy Baez at third, when Steven Matz threw to first base, Baez was off to the races:

Baez: fast, quick, smart, and just crazy enough to make these plays work. He’s stolen home a couple times before, most famously during the NLCS in 2016 against the Dodgers.
