The Chicago Cubs just announced a couple of related roster moves on Twitter:
The #Cubs today placed LHP Brian Duensing on the bereavement list and recalled LHP Rob Zastryzny from @IowaCubs.

Indeed, it seems left-handed reliever Brian Duensing is headed to the bereavement list and without knowing much more about it, all we can do is give our best to him and his family in what is likely a trying time. Logistically, a stay on the bereavement list must last at least three days and could go as long as seven.
In his place, the Cubs have recalled left-handed reliever Rob Zastryzny, who’s already been up with the team once this year, but has also made appearances in the big leagues in 2016 and 2017.
As for his minor-league performance this season, Zastryzny has a 3.97 ERA over 34 innings pitched with 29 strikeouts (19.7 K%) against 18 walks (12.2 BB%). On the brighter side, Zastryzny does get a ton of ground balls (55.2% in Triple-A) and has been much tougher on lefties than righties.
Separately, I’m sure Brett or I will have more on this soon, but Baez says he is fine and will not require X-rays:
#Cubs Baez says he's fine, no x-rays. May be able to play Tuesday
