A couple reports out there indicate the current draft of the 2019 MLB schedule making the rounds behind the scenes has the Chicago Cubs heading to Arlington to open up the season.

With the Cubs facing the NL West next year, the Tribune report also indicates they’ll be traveling to Houston, splitting with the Mariners, and hosting the A’s and Angels (Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani at Wrigley Field? Awesome).
Teams change rapidly from year to year, but obviously the AL West has some mighty good teams, many of which could be even better next year.
For more of the particulars, check out the reports. With MLB working in more off-days throughout the season in the current CBA period, you can expect that the season will once again begin in late March.
