The Cubs found themselves in an early hole thanks to a totally-crushed-and-not-just-a-pop-that-caught-the-wind three-run homer by Joe Mauer.
But Jason Heyward continued his resurgent season by shrinking that gap by a couple runs:

OK, so that one didn’t get out by much either, but it did have about 30 feet and 3 MPH of exit velocity on Mauer’s, so take that. Heyward’s is probably worth more … that’s how that works, right?
