Unfortunately, Kyle Hendricks went back the whole “giving up a first inning homer” thing tonight, so the Cubs trailed by a couple by the time the second inning started.
The good news, though, is that Ian Happ cut that deficit in half with one big swing:

That was 104.3 mph off the bat, and 409 feet out to center. A blast. That was Happ’s 11th homer of the season, and his line stands at a very healthy .255/.377/.455 with a 122 wRC+.
