This is apparently real. This is a real story about a real thing that happened.

Fan hit by tile from Wrigley scoreboard - but at least he was wearing a bucket on his head https://t.co/ayfHdJcjCK pic.twitter.com/TWumwIx8zt

In all seriousness, it’s kind of a scary story – not something I’ve heard of happening at Wrigley before, and I don’t think it’s a major future concern – and I’m glad to hear that the fan was OK after treatment at the hospital. But the bucket he was wearing was reportedly credited with helping shield him from more serious harm.
The short version, though? Always wear a bucket on your head. You don’t know when it is going to save your life.
That reminds me … maybe I should have to wear something crazy again this year for the BN Blogathon. You’ll have to get us over the $12,000 hump for Make-A-Wish before I’ll agree to anything though …
Can I just tell you: an unanticipated effect of the Rally Bucket? The thing is *hot*. #BNBlogathon pic.twitter.com/hOzNSQdPEY
