For the first time in a long time, the World Series is guaranteed to conclude before November, with Game Seven – if necessary – on Halloween.
The playoffs will kick off with the NL Wild Card Game on October 2, where the Cubs will hopefully be watching their future opponent for the NLDS, which kicks off two days later. The NLCS begins on October 12, and the World Series begins on October 23.
The entirety of the MLB playoffs in October. That’s exactly how it should be.
