Having already saved at least one run earlier in the game, and also having done more at the plate lately (and all year) than any other Cub, Javy Baez saw fit to pick his teammates up once again.
An inning after failing to score with the bases loaded and fewer than two outs, the Cubs needed a run. Baez supplied it:

That was 105.8 mph off the bat, and 414 feet for Baez’s 25th homer of the year, breaking the career high he just set last game.
