With the Cubs up four in the 9th, it was unlikely that the Brewers were going to mount a comeback. But that’s a potent lineup, and you just never know what might have happened if Ian Happ hadn’t, you know, Happ-end.

Tracking that ball comfortably is hard enough, let alone gloving it once you’ve reached the warning track – it is literally warning you that there is a brick wall ahead. Just a terrific catch.
Happ is still adjusting to the outfield full-time, but he’s obviously got plenty of natural talent out there. And while the bat hasn’t been there for a pretty long stretch now, it was good to see him contribute a big-time play on defense.
Also: the ivy is eating him.
