That wasn’t a monster shot – just 93.1 mph off the bat, and 346 feet – but they don’t all have to be. This isn’t the Home Run Derby.
That was just Schwarber’s second homer of the month, but you may recall a couple shots this month that turned into surprising outs. That is to say, Schwarber is actually striking the ball much better lately than it might seem:
