Anthony Rizzo Homers for the Third Straight Game! (VIDEO)

Chicago Cubs

The offense had stalled out for a long time, but with Kris Bryant on the mend, with Daniel Murphy in the house, and … Anthony Rizzo heating up, maybe the damage is returning.

Rizzo went deep for the third game in a row tonight in the first inning – he really streaks, doesn’t he? – and it was a monster shot:

That baby was 434 feet for Rizzo’s 21st homer of the season. It was also 106.7 mph off the bat, which is RIPPED. Rizzo’s not necessarily a huge exit velocity guy, so, for him, that might’ve been one of his hardest homers of the year.

The homer pushed Rizzo’s season line up to .268/.365/.461 (119 wRC+), and if he keeps up this hot streak, he could very soon look like he’s been having a “normal” Anthony Rizzo season all along.
