The Cubs have jumped all over quality lefty starter Carlos Rodon today, with a three-spot in the first, and then a monster homer by Kyle Schwarber in the second.
The first pitch of the inning was sent out a long way:

As Schwarber does, he destroyed that one – 109.7 mph off the bat and 444(!) feet out to right center. Believe it or not, that was his first homer off of a lefty this year. Hopefully the lazy home run trot was nice on his back.
