Pre-Gamin’: Cubs at Braves (6:20 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs need a “stopper” today … four games into the regular season … but who better than Jon Lester, right? The 35-year old left-hander probably doesn’t have the stuff of his early career, but he’s proven capable of getting the job done. That’s exactly what the Cubs need tonight.

Of course, I am also expecting a nice offensive performance from this lineup. The Cubs overloaded Julio Teheran with lefties, six if you count Jon Lester, which has been Teheran’s weakness in the past. Hopefully, they can give Lester – and the bullpen – a nice cushy lead to take the pressure off and, maybe even, I don’t know, have a little fun.
