We all know the relative importance of this series, given the polar opposite starts for the Brewers and Cubs this season, which means were all probably a little bit on edge.
Obviously, the Brewers aren’t doing anything close to winning the division this weekend (no matter the outcome), but the Cubs have dropped five straight and another series loss would put them in quite the early-season hole. And, as we discussed earlier, the playoff odds for these two teams have already taken dramatic turns early on.
Hopefully, Jose Quintana is as good as he usually is against the Brewers and the Cubs bats come to life against Brandon Woodruff. Deep breaths. Let’s win one.
