The Chicago Cubs have finally (mercifully) returned from their opening-season road trip to open up Wrigley Field. Hopefully, now that they’re home, the winning can begin.
Jon Lester is getting the ball today (he got the season opener and the home opener, which is cool) and he’s had two effective starts so far. It hasn’t been all roses and sunshine – 5 walks and 3 homers allowed already – but he’s found a way to put the Cubs in a position to win both times. That’s all you can ask for.
Let’s hope he’s up to the task one more time today. And GO CUBS.
