As we discussed earlier today, the Dodgers represent a pretty big test for these Chicago Cubs, who haven’t lost a series since April 7th.
Are they the slightly improved team we’ve seen lately? Or were a few key starting pitcher performances covering for what’s been a slightly less potent offense? And to that end, will Jose Quintana make a third straight excellent start? His last two were so good, but against lesser teams and although the Dodgers are worse against lefties, they’re still well above average on offense against them.
Let’s finally get back to some baseball.
