WATCH: Anthony Rizzo Drops to a Knee for His 200th Homer as a Chicago Cub

Chicago Cubs

The Bryzzo Souvenir company has created some new inventory today, with Kris Bryant going deep for his seventh blast of the season (and 50th in the last 5 days) in the first; and then Anthony Rizzo sending one out from one knee in the bottom of the fifth.

Check it out:

That was Rizzo’s 10th homer of the season, 201st overall, and 200th with the Chicago Cubs. He is now 9th on the Cubs All-time home run list, and climbing.

Also … I absolutely love how he dropped down to a knee to reach that one. Wow.

According to Statcast, that homer was 107 MPH off the bat and traveled 422 feet overall. Rizzo is now slashing .254/.376/.554 (145 wRC+) this season, and is tied for the 10th most home runs in baseball. Dude is his best self.
