Theo Epstein says Brandon Morrow – who had a setback while recovering from offseason elbow surgery – will be evaluated again this week to see when the former Cubs closer might be able to begin a new throwing program.

• Adbert Alzolay will start Friday for Triple-A Iowa.
• Nico Hoerner (bruised wrist) is expected to head to Arizona this week to continue his rehab and begin a hitting progression.
• Tony Barnette (shoulder) is getting close to a rehab assignment.
