The Cubs and Cardinals are trading solo homers tonight, apparently. Anthony Rizzo went deep in the top of the first, matched by Paul Goldschmidt in the bottom of the frame.

I feel like that’s the third Heyward homer this year that’s been 99.9 mph off the bat. I guess he just doesn’t want to show off.
On the year, it’s already 9 homers for Heyward, who hit just 8 all of last year. He’s currently hitting .246/.357/.430 with a 107 wRC+.
