Pre-Gamin’: Braves at Cubs (7:05 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread
The Cubs got this tough, four-game home series against the Braves off to a good start yesterday, but have a bit of a challenge tonight: Adbert Alzolay.
Alzolay is one of the Cubs top pitching prospects, and although he already made his big league debut piggybacking (successfully) off Tyler Chatwood last week, he’s getting his first big league start today against a very good Braves team. And let’s just say this doesn’t make me particularly happy:
Gulp. And he allows a lot of fly balls. https://t.co/XYFLfYOZeF

So best of luck to you, Alzolay – we’re all rooting you on big time – but don”t get down on yourself if the Braves beat you with the wind blowing out in the middle of a Wrigley summer game. It happens. But also … try to make it not happen, because Luis and I have another episode of Outside the Ivy tonight and we want another positive one to talk about. Oh, and we want the Cubs to win. Obviously that too.
