The El Mago Way to End a Game (VIDEO)
I’m not going to say I was worried the game was about to unravel in the 9th inning, but I’m also not going to suggest I was completely comfortable as Steve Cishek was called upon to protect a six-run lead with one out.
When a hard one up the middle looked destined for center field, the Cubs were about to find themselves just a couple batters away from the tying run coming to the plate. But Javy Baez wanted to end things right there.
So El Mago did what El Mago does, and with some help from his friends on the infield, he locked down the win:
