Robel Garcia drew a surprise start in left field today, and the ball immediately found him in the first inning. He didn’t exactly get a great read on a fly ball, and it turned into a double. Growing pains for a guy who has had virtually no pro stateside experience in the outfield.
But, as he does, Garcia made up for it in the bottom of the first with an outfield fly of his own, which turned into three bases:

Garcia now has 9 hits in the big leagues, and 7 of them – SEVEN OF THEM – are for extra bases.
Also: you got him down 0-2 on offspeed pitches, and then tried to throw him a fastball? Immediate demotion material, dude.
