Not even going to make a Coldplay joke.
The NL East-leading Braves have added to their bullpen today, picking up Chris Martin from the Rangers for a pretty good prospect:
The Atlanta Braves have acquired reliever Chris Martin from the Texas Rangers for left-handed starter Kolby Allard, sources tell ESPN.

Allard is kind of a post-hype guy, having been a top 75-ish overall prospect across the board in 2018, and reached the bigs at just 21 years old. He’s been starting at AAA this year, with mixed results, but he’s still a decent prospect. Nice get for the Rangers.
Chris Martin is quite the story. Went to Japan at 30 years old, dominated, returned with the Texas Rangers in 2018 and has been really good in his age-33 season. He's a free agent after this season. @Ken_Rosenthal had the deal for Kolby Allard done first.
