Today, MLB released its tentative 2020 schedules, and the Cubs will open on March 26 in Milwaukee. Their home opener is super early this year, on March 30 against the Pirates. Invest in winter jackets and thermal underwear now.
Thankfully, the off-days are much more evenly distributed next year, so that should be far less annoying.
It’s an AL East year on the interleague schedule, with the Cubs getting visits from the Orioles, Red Sox, and Rays. The Cubs play at Yankee Stadium June 26-28.
Gotta love finishing the season at home for basically the final two weeks (with only one road trip mixed in, a two-gamer to Pittsburgh with off-days on either side).
